WW1 homefront Rochester Walk

Congratulations to all those members that took part in this morning's 

WW1 walk in Rochester - we raised an amazing £250.00 for the 

Royal British Legion - well done everyone!!

Geoff our guide was very informative as to what life was like in Kent

especially for the wives left behind whilst their husbands were away 

fighting in the war

After our two hour walk we were pleased to sit down and enjoy a

delicious 'trench stew' which was really tasty and consisted of

fresh vegetables and corned beef

An excellent outing and to raise a large amount for such a 

worthwhile charity was wonderful
